AbleCare Homes is a Bristol based family fun residential care home company established in 1983. We have six professionally run care homes.The Home EnvironmentThis elegant Georgian House has been fully modernised and adapted for use as a retirement home for older people who have a dementia, whilst still retaining its character and architectural features. Set in its own secluded grounds, with many mature trees, the home is close to all village amenities, including shops, churches and library.AccommodationWe provide accommodation for up to 17 elderly ladies and gentlemen. All of our rooms are single and are decorated and furnished in keeping with the period style of the home.There are two lounges on the ground floor, one is a large main lounge area which also has a TV and DVD for residents use. The second lounge offers a smaller more intimate seating space where residents can sit quietly and read or talk.The dining room is situated in our purpose built conservatory, which has been designed in the style of the original Georgian house to provide a light airy space.
