Truck and bus driver training throughout ChichesterSince 1970, 1st Castle LGV and PCV Training have been training bus and truck drivers in the Chichester area. This includes people who are learning to drive this type of vehicle for the first time, or experienced drivers updating their qualifications with CPC training.Our family run business can train people to drive a range of vehicles from HGV's, buses, minibuses and more. We work on an individual basis to get the best out of you as we appreciate people learn at different speeds.If you're looking for a career as a minibus driver or generally to gain the appropriate qualifications to drive any vehicle that carries passengers, you need a PCV license. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply to take the test, though you do have to be passed by a medical doctor to drive any passenger vehicles.CPC is necessary for LGV and PCV drivers to keep themselves qualified and licensed and must be taken every 5 years. The course takes 35 hours to complete and is required by EU directive 2003/59.
